COMMERCIAL

- Does Malossi sell directly to the public via its Malossi Store?

Yes, as of the 1st of March 2014 sales are managed directly by the company. This is why both sales and the pre and post-sales services place the buyer directly in contact with Malossi S.p.A .

- I’m a company, can I buy from the Malossi Store? 

The Malossi store is reserved exclusively for private consumers.

- Can I request an invoice of an order placed through the store?

Yes, before concluding the order you will need to choose the option "I wish to receive the invoice."

- How can I receive your stickers?

The stickers are delivered free of charge and are found inside the purchased products or during exhibitions and fairs, or they can be purchased on our website. The stickers are not shipped.

- Are all the products displayed on your site available?

You’ll find the product availability in our warehouse on the product sheet of each article published online. Should the product be missing, you can send an email asking to be notified when it is available.

 

ORDERS

PAYMENT METHODS AND SHIPPING


- What are the accepted payment methods? 
Presently we accept bank transfers paid in advance, all main credit cards, and PayPal.

- When will the order be shipped, if I pay by bank transfer? 
If you paid by bank transfer, we will initiate shipment after receiving the payment, which can take several days.

If payment is not received by the 15th calendar day after the order is placed, the purchase requisition will be canceled.


- What are the shipping fees charged? 
The present shipping fees are 6 €. There are times during which shipping fees are free on certain promotional offers.

- When does the debit due on my credit/debit card take place? 
If you paid by credit or debit card, the amount due is deducted immediately upon confirmation of the order.
You can cancel some or all of your order should there be any problems.

 

RETURNING AND REPLACEMENT OF THE GOODS


- How can I exercise the right of withdrawal?
If you are not satisfied with your purchase of a product you can, as determined by the Consumer Code, exercise the right of withdrawal for a refund.
To do so notify us, within 14 working days from receipt of goods, which and how many products you intend to return using the withdrawal form or by registered mail at the following address Malossi S.p.A. Via Roma, 118/I 40012 Calderara di Reno. Along with the notice, whereby you declare your intention to exercise the right of withdrawal, without any consequences and without any reason, you must return the goods received.
The products you wish to return to us must be shipped intact and unaltered. 
All shipping and packaging costs for returning the goods are at your expense, but will be reimbursed.
NB: Malossi S.p.A. recommends shipping the goods via registered mail because the return shipment is under the full responsibility of the customer.
The positive outcome of the refund of the returned goods could be compromised if Malossi S.p.A.:
- does not receive the goods,
- the goods received are NOT in perfect condition or are damaged.

All refunds will be credited via one of the methods proposed by Malossi S.p.A. and chosen by you.

 

- Can I return a product?
If you notice that the product is defective or inadequate for use send it back to us. We will check the product and if the defect is confirmed, we will send you another one. In order to return goods you must first fill out the returns Form available here
Once Malossi S.p.A. has approved the return, and has informed you, you can send it to the following address: Malossi S.p.A. Via Roma, 118/I 40012 Calderara di Reno (BO). 
All shipping and packaging costs for changing the goods are at the client’s expense. 
NB: Malossi S.p.A. recommends shipping the goods via registered mail because the return shipment is under the full responsibility of the customer.
The positive outcome of the refund of the returned goods could be compromised if Malossi S.p.A.:
- does not receive the goods,
- the goods received are NOT in perfect condition or are damaged, broken.


SAFETY

We have entrusted the management of payments by credit cards to a leading national banking institution which guarantees all the necessary safety measures. Payment by credit card is not carried out on the Malossistore.co.uk site, rather you are redirected to the bank’s secure servers and at the end of the payment process you will return to Malossistore.co.uk for confirmation.
 

We use Unicredit’s Pagonline Business service for payments made by credit card. Upon payment confirmation our site will redirect you via the SSL safety protocol to the https://pagamenti.unicredito.it site. There, you can enter your data and your card’s details via the Verified by Visa and MasterCard Secure Code. The bank’s site is protected by the SSL 128 bit certificate.
 


TECHNICAL

- I installed one of your products but did not got the results as indicated by you. What can I do?

You can send an email to shop@malossistore.co.uk or fill out the form in the "Contacts" area.

- What can I install on my scooter as initial equipment?

We suggest you install our variator along with our belt.

- Where can I find Malossi product’s technical data?

You can find all the technical information regarding our products directly by clicking on the description and in the installation instructions for each product.

- What performance enhancement will I get with the Malossi variator?

The variator gives an increase in pickup, not in speed. Our variator gives the scooter an improved sprint, a consistency when shifting, a greater mechanical "ease" at high speeds and a consistent performance unknown to the basic version. 

- What displacement does a cylinder have? 

You can find all the technical information regarding our products directly by clicking on the description and in the installation instructions for each product.

- Does the internal rotor ignition exclude the electrical system?

Yes.

- Can I buy and install only the control unit for Aprilia Ditech?

The control unit is supplied in the kit along with the thermal unit and they must absolutely be installed together. You can also buy it on its own, but only as a spare.

- Can I change my scooter model from ignition to carburetor?

Yes, you have to mount our 5512894 control unit, KIT DIGITRONIC KRM - conversion to carb., along with a carburetor and a specific thermal unit for carburetor vehicles. In your injection scooter spare parts, you’ll find an indication of the new parts to match the 5512894

- Do you carry out inspections on shock absorbers?

No, but, where available, you’ll find an overhaul kit among the shock absorber spare parts.

- What does the selection of the piston identify?

It identifies the correct coupling between the piston and cylinder. You can find this letter either on the piston top or at the base of the cylinder. The zero identifies the lowest size and D the largest. Each letter increases the piston’s size by 1 hundredth of a millimeter.

- How much oil should I put into the Malossi fork?

You’ll find this information in the installation instructions of the reference code.

- I lost the Malossi silencer certification. What can I do?

You can print it directly from your silencer installation instructions.

- I installed one of your products, but did not get the result you indicated. What can I do?

- Do the Malossi variators come with rollers?

Yes.

- Can the lambda emulator controller (TC unit O2 controller) be matched with the Force Master 2?

Yes.

- Is everything I see in the variator photo shipped with the kit?

Yes, everything you see in the photo is found in the code.

 

- After how many kilometers do I have to replace the Malossi belt?

We recommend carrying out maintenance work on the belts by following what is recommended by the manufacturers of the vehicle.
